The leash is easy to clean and maintain. You can wash it by hand or in the washing machine at 60 °C. The buckles are metal and have excellent physical properties. They don't like salt water, though, so to make them last, always rinse them quickly with clean water after soaking in the sea.

TIP: In the washing machine, wash the leash together with a towel or in a laundry bag to stop the buckles from banging against the drum. Washing too often in the machine is wasteful of water and energy. We recommend cleaning individual stains by hand as they appear, which is also better for the durability of dog gear, and air-drying rather than using a tumble dryer.

Product inspection: Check the leash regularly, including the elastic section, stitching, buckles, D-rings and carabiner. Do not use a damaged or worn leash and replace it if necessary.

Correct attachment: Clip the carabiner securely onto the D-ring of a properly fitted collar or harness. Before use, check that the carabiner is fully closed and locked.

Hands-free use: When using the leash around your waist, adjust the length so that it fits securely and comfortably. Before use, check that the buckle is fully closed.

Elastic section: The elastic section helps to cushion sudden tugs, but it does not prevent pulling. Do not overstretch it and do not point it towards your face. Do not wrap the leash around your neck, hands, legs or body.

Controlling your dog: Always keep your dog under control and adjust your speed to the surroundings. Be especially careful when running, hiking and cycling. Never leave your dog tied up unattended.

Attaching in a car: Always clip the car attachment to a properly fitted harness, never to a collar. Before driving, check that it is securely fastened and compatible with the vehicle. The attachment restricts the dog's movement, but it is not a substitute for a certified pet restraint system.

Colour fastness and care: Colours may fade in certain circumstances. Metal parts may corrode after prolonged exposure to moisture, salt, mud or the weather. Clean the leash regularly and let it air-dry completely.

Storage: Store in a dry place, out of reach of children and animals. The product is not a toy.

Add also:

More comfort and control, less strain.

Cushions sudden pulling

The elastic ‘bungee’ section of the leash absorbs sudden tugs and makes movement more comfortable. In cases of sudden pulling, it reduces the risk of injury to the dog's neck and spine, and of pain in the handler's hands and shoulders.

Free hands for unrestricted movement

Attaching it around your waist allows hands-free use. Your hands are free to use trekking poles, for a natural arm swing when running, and for other purposes.

More control with adjustable length

You adjust the length of the leash to the situation, the activity, and your dog's size and pace. On an open trail you can give your dog more room, while in the city or when cycling you keep him closer for more control.

For safety when driving

The leash comes with a buckle for attaching it in the car.

Extra handle for a handy grip

The padded handle gives you a quick, short grip when you need your dog closer to you. For example, when meeting another dog or crossing the road.

Visibility in the dark

Two reflective lines ensure better visibility in the dark and in poor light conditions.

Locking carabiner

The carabiner with a locking option provides extra safety and prevents it from opening accidentally during use.

D-ring for clipping on

When you don't need the leash, you can temporarily clip it to the D-ring, or attach a water bowl to it.
